Scripture for the Week -

This weeks sermon was about living with the changes God gives you.  We have to learn as Christians how to deal with and adapt to change much the way Abraham did.  This is much easier to do when we're standing on the rock of Christ Jesus.  No matter where you go or what you go through God will be right beside you.  In the scriptures, Lot always took the easy way out even when it wasn't the best choice.  God calls us for a specific reason.  Abraham left a secure place for the changes God had for him and for what God called him to be.  We must learn to deal with change and to adapt to it.  We can cope with any change if we have the Lord and are surrounded by Christian friends.  He is the vine and we are the branches and we are secure in Him.  Jesus will never fail us.

We are going back to the Old Testament today, which we sometimes don't alway do.
